Simply put, my coins are precious to me. They are the tools of my art and allow me to express my creativity and share that incredible feeling of wonder and awe that we often lose touch with as we grow older.

Years ago I noticed a discrepancy watching a performance where a magician took out a cheaply made coin purse and proclaimed the coins inside were something extraordinary. Something rang false. Suspending belief for a moment about coins and magical powers... if you owned a set of 'magical coins' would you carry them around in a cheap vinyl and gold chinese-made coin purse? It lacks any authenticity whatsoever.

I went home with that performance stuck in my head and started to consider the entire presentation of my magic a lot deeper. I decided that I wanted to convey a truer sense of authenticy in my coin magic and that I wanted it to start as soon as I took them out of my pocket.

I began to look for existing coin purses, cases and holders. Some were decent, most were not. I set out to have one made for me and ended up finding a local craftsman who made me a beautiful prototype. It was very similar to the one available here, black leather and red satin.

I used it for years and still have it. It's worn in beautifully, the leather only gets nicer as it ages and it makes a powerful statement when I take it out of my pocket. It says, in no uncertain terms, that what's inside is very, very precious.

The problem came when I ended up with a few more coin sets... and needed another coin purse. The craftsman I originally used was no longer available so I found another, and decided to not just order one but make them available to you too.

We worked on multiple designs to find just the right size and dimensions to hold a huge amount of your precious silver and still fit neatly in your pocket.

I wanted to raise the bar and create something for this community that I've loved for a lifetime. I hope you love The CoinPurse as much as I do.
